Reach Beneath the Surface
Bedrok™ is the first-ever performance plinth upgrade for Linn’s Sondek LP12, designed to elevate every aspect of your turntable’s performance. Constructed from orthogonal layers of beech subjected to extreme pressure and heat, this engineered material is ultra-dense with negligible resonance, providing an unparalleled isolating housing for your turntable mechanism. With its Klimax-level precision and innovation, Bedrok™ takes the LP12’s sound quality to unprecedented heights.
Engineered for Superior Performance
The plinth serves as the foundation for the entire LP12 system, impacting the stability, acoustic isolation, and resonance characteristics of every component. Bedrok™ boasts over twice the density of a standard LP12 plinth, making it uniformly solid and ultra-low resonance. This upgrade delivers a holistic improvement to your turntable, resulting in greater pace, tighter bass, and enhanced musical detail. Each component housed within the Bedrok™ plinth benefits from its precision machining and carefully balanced center of mass, ensuring seamless compatibility with the LP12 system.
Enhanced Durability and Design
For the first time, Bedrok™ incorporates threaded steel inserts throughout, eliminating wood screw fixings. This design ensures greater durability and reliability, not just at the initial build but for all future upgrades. The plinth’s natural beechwood layers are finished with a simple coat of oil, enhancing and protecting its distinctive appearance.
Availability
Due to the scarcity of material and the complex manufacturing process, Bedrok™ plinths will be available in limited quantities starting January 2025. Each plinth ships with a newly designed top plate featuring subtle curves for a seamless fit with the machined plinth.
Elevate your LP12 to its full potential with Bedrok™, an upgrade that combines precision engineering, timeless design, and unparalleled performance
