Streaming, or “smart”, amplifiers have gaining significant traction and acceptance in recent years. While the convenience of a “one box solution” is appealing, a majority of dedicated audio enthusiasts have shied away from the prospect. One reason may be that the current offerings seem to be aimed at the lower end of the market, and provided by brands typically associated with “mid-fi”.

Linn, throughout their history, have never released a products that one might consider “mid-fi”, so the prospect of an all-in-one smart amplifier from Linn got us excited from the first off-the-cuff mention.
